Butler County is expanding the number of areas for shelters for the homeless this winter.
The county will be using two additional apartments to go with the facilities they already have. Human services officials say because of social distancing guidelines, they needed more space.
The apartments will go those who arrive after-hours, and then they will be moved to one of the usual locations if they need the service.
