A waterline in Boyers will soon be replaced after years of temporary repairs.
Officials say there have been numerous patches put on the waterline since it was first installed in the 1970s, and that it’s getting close to an emergency situation.
The county is transferring around $73,000 in CDBG funding that was set aside for the Boyers sewer project. Officials say the transfer of funds will not impact in getting the sewer help to those in the Boyers area.
With the environmental review process, it’s possible the project will not happen until January 2021.
