There were 113 new cases of COVID-19 for Butler County on Friday.
That comes with 165 negative tests, giving today’s report a 47.8 percent positivity rate.
Butler Memorial Hosptial says they reported two more deaths due to COVID-19 to the Department of Health on Thursday.
As of Friday morning, the hospital is treating 28 patients for the coronavirus, with four in the ICU.
With the two additional deaths, the county’s death toll due to COVID-19 is now at 54 according to Department of Health. In this month alone, Butler Memorial Hospital has reported 16 deaths.
Overall, the state added 6,808 new cases, 108 additional deaths, and around 19,000 negative tests.
