Members of the North Catholic varsity hockey team are moving to remote learning for the next week due to COVID-19.
According to the Diocese of Pittsburgh, an individual associated with the team tested positive for COVID-19.
“I’m grateful to the family for reporting the positive test result,” John Benzing, assistant principal said. “That information allows us to take all the necessary steps to do everything we can to keep our students and school families healthy and safe.”
School officials say they hope to resume play next Tuesday.
