Cranberry Township will not be raising taxes next year, but does anticipate tax revenue to be down about $1 million next year.
According to township supervisors, the decrease is expected to come from business, local service and earned income taxes all being down due to the pandemic.
The township hopes not to have to use money from the fund balance to cover operating costs, and will take steps like not filling vacant positions to help balance the budget.
All capital projects are still scheduled to proceed including the renovations at the Rotary Amphitheater and the MSA Thruway.
