There were 100 new cases of COVID-19 reported by the state for Butler County on Friday.
That comes with 306 negative tests, giving the Department of Health’s daily report a 24.6 percent positivity rate.
There was an additional death reported by the Department of Health on Thursday for Butler County, bringing the total to 70.
As of Friday morning, Butler Memorial Hospital was treating 38 patients for the coronavirus, with seven people in the ICU. This is an increase of 11 more people hospitalized since Wednesday. Butler Memorial Hospital reported one additional death to the state on Thursday.
Statewide, there were 7,360 new cases, 21 additional deaths, and around 21,000 negative tests.
