After the Pennsylvania Supreme Court unanimously ruled against a lawsuit filed by Congressman Mike Kelly that looked to throw out mail-in ballots, he’s now looking to take his fight to the U.S. Supreme Court.
Kelly and his attorneys are seeking an emergency injunction with the country’s highest court. They are asking to halt the certification of the state’s election right away.
The lawsuit by Kelly says Pennsylvania’s mail-in ballots are unconstitutional and should not be counted. He and other plaintiffs specifically cited Act 77 of the 2019 new election laws as the main point of contention.
