The public is invited to check out the plans to replace a bridge in western Butler County.
PennDOT is presenting the proposed plans to replace the Portersville Bridge that carries East Portersville Road over Interstate 79 in Muddy Creek Township.
This project will be carried out in phases which will allow for one lane of traffic in each direction throughout construction. The Park and Ride lot will remain open and access maintained for riders of New Castle Area Transit. This project is scheduled to begin in 2022.
Information available will include project status, schedule, design, and right of way acquisition with PennDOT representatives available for questions. The plans will be made available online only through PennDOT’s District 10 website due to COVID-19 mitigation efforts.
