Pittsburgh Steelers head coach Mike Tomlin discussed his team being “out-physicaled” in the past two games – the Steelers only two losses of the season. He also commented that the team was looking forward for a good week of preparation after playing three games in 12 days. The team went 1-and-2 over that stretch. The Steelers offense has struggled with third-down opportunities – converting less than 19% in the losses.
The Steelers have signed veteran offensive lineman Danny Isadora from the Kansas City Chiefs practice squad to help with line depth after injuries to Matt Feiler and Kevin Dotson in Sunday Night’s loss to Buffalo. Running back James Conner is dealing with a quad injury, and defensive back Terrell Edmunds has a shoulder issue. The team expects Joe Haden to return to the defensive backfield after going through concussion protocol.
The Steelers visit Cincinnati Monday Night.
