The Nittany Lions have won three straight after the 0-5 start to the season, and could see a bowl bid with another win. The NCAA removed the usual requirement of winning six games to be bowl eligible this year due to the pandemic.
Two of the Big Ten Champions Week games scheduled for this week have been postponed due to virus issues. Indiana vs. Purdue and Michigan vs. Iowa were canceled.
Also canceled was the Frisco Bowl scheduled for Saturday.
The College Football Playoff rankings remained unchanged this week, for the fourth straight week – Alabama remains on top, followed by Notre Dame, Clemson and Ohio State.
