The Pittsburgh Penguins defeated the Winnipeg Jets 2-1 in overtime last night at PPG Paints Arena. Phil Kessel scored another game-winning goal in overtime. It was his 300th career goal. Conor Sheary scored his fourth goal of the season for the Penguins in the first period. Goaltender Matt Murray stopped 30 of 31 shots on goal.
The Penguins play back-to-back games this weekend. The Pens visit Minnesota Saturday for an 8pm face-off. Pre-game on WISR 680am begins at 7:30pm.
The Pens visit Winnipeg Sunday.
