The Pittsburgh Penguins are set return to action on Sunday, and will host the Washington Capitals.
Sunday’s game will be the Penguins’ first game in Pittsburgh since the start of the COVID-19 pandemic. The Penguins are also looking for their first win of the season after they dropped their first two games against the Philadelphia Flyers.
You can catch Sunday’s game on WISR 680AM. Faceoff is set for 12pm.
Penguins forward Jared McCann has been fined by the NHL following an incident that occurred against the Philadelphia Flyers on Friday. McCann was initially assessed a 2-minute minor penalty for elbowing a Philadelphia player in the second period. Following a league disciplinary hearing, a fine of $10,000 was also assessed. The fine is the highest amount permitted under the current collective bargaining agreement, and will go to the Players’ Emergency Assistance Fund.
