Butler Health System continues to receive a lot of questions about the COVID-19 vaccine, especially when it comes to who is eligible.
Right now, officials at Butler Health System say they are following the state’s guidelines, which is still in Phase 1A of their vaccine rollout plan. That level includes healthcare workers and long term care facility residents.
BHS officials also say they have not heard when the state will transition to Phase 1B, but Secretary of Health Dr. Rachel Levine indicated that it could be soon.
So far, Butler County has inoculated 5,742 people, with just over 1,100 receiving the full vaccination according to the PA Department of Health.
