The Tampa Bay Buccaneers defeated the Kansas City Chiefs 31-9 to win the Super Bowl last night. Bucs quarterback Tom Brady won his NFL record seventh title and was named the game’s MVP. He went 21-for-29 for 201 yards and three touchdowns. He hit tight end and former Patriots teammate Rob Gronkowski for two of the scores and former Steelers wide receiver Antonio Brown for the third score.
Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes went 26 or 49 for 270 yards and two interceptions. Kansas City was penalized 11 times for 120 yards.
It was the second NFL title for Tampa Bay.
