Ash Wednesday is just a little over a week away, but the pandemic will make it a different process this year.
According to the Diocese of Pittsburgh, instead of ashes being distributed on the forehead of parishioners, they will be sprinkled on top of the head.
Diocese officials say this is a common way to distribute ashes in other countries.
