The usual Friday night fish fry is going to be a little different this year due to the pandemic.
It’s a tradition for many in Western Pennsylvania to spend their Fridays during Lent supporting their favorite local church or non-profit by enjoying a fish dinner.
But, for churches like St. Fidelis—they’re going take-out only. Diocese of Pittsburgh protocols required churches to not allow dine-in eating.
That policy is in place for all Catholic churches this Lent. The first fish fry at St. Fidelis is this Friday.
