The Pennsylvania Department of Health will be offering free COVID-19 testing to anyone who feels that they are in need of a test in neighboring Lawrence County later this week.
According to the Pennsylvania Department of Health, the testing will begin Saturday at Cascade Park on East Washington Street in New Castle and continue through Wednesday.
This site will contain a drive-thru and indoor walk-in testing clinics open from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Testing will consist of a mid-nasal passage swab PCR test. No appointment is necessary but on-site registration is required so those attending should bring a photo ID or insurance card.
This testing will be first-come, first-served and up to 450 patients can be tested each day. Results are expected to be available two to seven days after testing.
