The Mars Area School District will replace the roof on the Primary Center.
At their meeting Tuesday night, the school board voted to accept a bid from the Bur Mac Commercial Roofing Company in Springdale, Allegheny County.
The bid of nearly $382,000 was the lowest of three received for the project to replace the ballast roof of the facility.
Board members pointed out that this company has done satisfactory work for the district in the past. The date this project will begin and how long it will take to complete are unknown at this time.
