Butler County is nearing 50,000 residents who have received at least one shot of the COVID-19 vaccine.
The latest information from the Department of Health shows that more than 10,000 shots were administered over the past week in the county.
Of the total number of vaccinations, the data shows more than 26,000 people are fully covered with the COVID vaccine.
Statewide, 1.2 million people are fully covered, with more than 3.6 million shots administered.
The state Department of Health numbers only reflect vaccinations that were allotted to Pennsylvania, so the information excludes shots administered at the VA or a part of the federal pharmacy partnership.
