There were 11 new cases of COVID-19 and no additional deaths for Butler County Monday.
That comes after a weekend of 93 new cases. That brings the running total number of cases to 14,445 in the county since the beginning of the pandemic. The death toll remains at 375.
There was a slight reduction in local hospitalizations. As of Monday morning, Butler Memorial Hospital was treating six patients for the coronavirus—that’s down by three since Friday. And there’s one COVID patient in the ICU.
Statewide hospitalizations have remained relatively stable over the past week, with 1,450 patients being treated for COVID. That’s down about 50 from last Monday.
