Governor Tom Wolf has announced that he plans to lift some business restrictions beginning next month.
Beginning April 4th, restaurants that self-certify with the state will be allowed to resume bar service, serve alcohol without the purchase of food, and increase indoor dining capacity to 75% of occupancy.
Other businesses such as gyms and entertainment facilities will be able to increase the amount of customers to 75% but all businesses will still be required to obey social distancing and mask wearing requirements.
Maximum occupancy limits for indoor events will be set at 25% capacity while outdoor events will be 50% regardless of venue size.
Wolf explained that these revisions are being made as a result of the number of statewide COVID-19 cases declining as well as the number of people who have been vaccinated increasing.
