Butler Freshman bowler Kelsee McConnell finished ninth at the PA State Singles Bowling Championships Friday in Pittsburgh.
She missed the championship step-ladder finals by just 31 pins. She averaged better than 181 over six games and four of those six games she averaged better than 201.
Kelsee also had a high game of 224 in her state debut.
