In local high school basketball from Friday:
The North Allegheny girls’ team defeated Spring-Ford in the PIAA Class 6A State Championship, the final 55-40.
The Our Lady of the Sacred Heart boys’ team defeated Constitution in the PIAA Class 2A State Championship, the final 62-49.
