The Butler VA is expanding who is eligible to receive the COVID-19 vaccine.
Officials say anyone who served in the military, their caregivers, and spouses are now eligible to receive the vaccination at the VA.
There are also other select beneficiaries who can receive their shot at the VA.
“Since the start of the pandemic, Butler VA has been focused on vaccinating as many Veterans as possible, and we are excited to multiply our efforts to thanks to the SAVE LIVES Act,” Kevin Amick, Director of the Butler VA Health Care System said. “We updated our vaccination process to accommodate those identified in the Act and are confident we will be able to vaccinate all who wish to receive a vaccine.”
To schedule an appointment you can call 878-271-6753 or visit the VA’s website.
Eligibility was expanded after President Biden signed the SAVE LIVES Act a few weeks ago.
