High School Sports:
North Catholic’s Nicholas Scheller has reached the WPIAL Class 2A Tennis championship. Scheller defeated Luke Hagberg of Blackhawk 10-0 in the First Round at Shady Side Academy high school. He went on to defeat Ethan Bowden of South Park 10-1 in the quarterfinals, and won his semifinal match 6-1, 6-1 over Will Sirianni of Quaker Valley. He will meet Mike Sirianni, also of Quaker Valley for the title.
Baseball:

–North Catholic-8 Freeport-3.
–Seneca Valley-9 Pine-Richland-1.
–Grove City-9 Meadville-0.
–North Allegheny-11 Allderdice-1 in five innings.
–Butler JV fell to Central Catholic 7-6. Central scored a walk-off in the bottom of the seventh. The two teams play at Butler tonight.
Softball:
–Slippery Rock-4 Titusville-3.
–Pine-Richland-4 Seneca Valley-3 in 10-innings.
–Highlands-13 Knoch-9.
–Hempfield-13 Butler-1 in six innings.
–North Catholic-18 East Allegheny-0 in three innings.
–Norwin-9 North Allegheny-2.
Girls Lacrosse:
–Pine-Richland-15 Seneca Valley-3.
–North Hills-19 Freeport-8. Morgan Wise led the Yellow Jackets with four goals. Addy Bowers added three.
