Local law enforcement agencies assisted with an investigation that has resulted in federal charges against a former resident of the state of Indiana.
According to the U.S. Department of Justice, 31-year-old Roderick King has been indicted by a federal grand jury in Pittsburgh on charges of attempted sex trafficking, sex trafficking, and sexual exploitation of a child.
Between July of 2017 and November of 2020, King allegedly caused a female minor to engage in commercial sex acts and produced material depicting the sexual exploitation of that minor victim.
Providing assistance to the Department of homeland Security and the PA office of the Attorney General in this investigation were the Butler Township Police, the Butler City Police, the Butler Area School District, and Butler County Children and Youth Services.
