There were 28 new cases of COVID-19 and no additional deaths for Butler County Wednesday.
That number of new cases is nearly half of the number that the county saw last week.
As of Monday morning, Butler Memorial Hospital was treating five patients for the coronavirus, with one COVID patient in the ICU. Those numbers are also down from last week.
Statewide, there were just over 1,700 new cases and 38 additional deaths. There was also a slight decline in the number of hospitalized patients in Pennsylvania with 1,427 patients receiving treatment.
