There were 16 new cases of COVID-19 and no additional deaths for Butler County Friday.
That’s down a little more than a handful of cases compared to last Friday.
As of Wednesday morning, Butler Memorial Hospital was treating 10 patients for the coronavirus, with two COVID patients in the ICU.
Statewide, there were a little more than a thousand new cases today along with 24 additional deaths. Hospitalizations in Pennsylvania also dropped to 1,107—which continues the downward trend seen over the last six weeks.
