After two years of preparation, five Catholic churches in Butler are now operating under one parish name.
The Diocese of Pittsburgh announced the new grouping will be called All Saints Parish. The parish combines St. Paul’s, St. Peter’s, and St. Michael in the City of Butler along with St. Conrad’s (formerly St. Fidelis) in Meridian and St. Andrew’s in Center Township.
All of the individual churches will keep their name and no buildings are expected to close according to Bishop David Zubik.
The change is effective July 1st.
