Slippery Rock University senior javelin thrower Danielle Collier won a national championship over the weekend at the NCAA Division II National Championships in Michigan. Collier’s longest throw was well over 174-feet, breaking her own school record and the Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference record by more nearly eight feet. She will now represent SRU at the Olympic qualifiers in Oregon June 25th.
