State police are releasing crash data from the past holiday weekend.
More than 800 accidents were investigated by state police during the official holiday travel period. Those accidents ended up with eight deaths and more than 180 injuries.
Alcohol was a factor in 63 of those crashes, but not any of the fatals.
However, police made nearly 600 arrests for drunk driving this past weekend.
