Local individuals and families are invited to take advantage of a new program that provides easier access to fresh produce.
The Free Community Supported Agriculture (CSA) program is a joint effort of the Community Partnership group and local produce growers.
Starting in July and continuing to September, the Free S.A. program will give 25 eligible families a weekly vegetable “subscription” box with a mix of produce like tomatoes, peppers, broccoli, greens, and a variety of herbs. The amount and type of produce will vary depending on weather and other factors.
The sign up period for this program will end a week from today (6/11). For more information about eligibility for this program, contact Community Action Partnership of Butler County or visit their website.
