The Seneca Valley Board of School Directors has approved a new collective bargaining agreement with the district’s Education Support Professionals.
The new five-year contract includes the district’s 144 secretaries and paraprofessionals who voted to accept the deal last month.
The new agreement includes wage increases for each year along with a high deductible medical plan and additional employee healthcare contributions.
Both Seneca Valley Superintendent of Schools Dr. Tracy Vitale and union negotiator Brooke Witt expressed gratitude at being able to come to a fair agreement after beginning talks in January.
The new deal will take effect on July 1st and run through June 2026.
