The Seneca Valley School District will be removing all Native imagery from their schools.
According to our news partners at WPXI, the board voted unanimously to retire all of the Native American logos from the school, including the mascot.
The district will still be keeping the Raider nickname, but will design a new mascot.
The decision comes after a presentation by a group of students earlier this year who said the portrayal of the Raider in the district was inaccurate and insensitive.
