State troopers were busy over the holiday weekend according to the latest numbers.
Over the four days, state police say they made more than 500 arrests for driving under the influence and nearly 9,000 speeding citations.
State police spokesperson Brent Miller said that there were a few fatalities this weekend.
“Tragically nine people lost their lives in crashes investigated by state police,” Miller said. “Alcohol was a factor in four of the fatal collisions.”
