A Kittanning woman is in the Armstrong County jail after she allegedly left her children at home and assaulted a neighbor.
State police say 31-year-old Michelle Craigmiles left her six and four year old children home alone in their apartment complex on Lindenwood Drive. Police were alerted yesterday morning after the children knocked on a neighbor’s door.
Upon arrival, police found Craigmiles and learned that she had assaulted a 58-year-old woman earlier in the day. Craigmiles also had drugs in her possession.
She was arraigned and taken to prison. The children were released to the family.
