After being canceled last year, organizers are getting ready for the first-ever Butler Bikes & BBQ later this week.
The event begins Thursday at the Butler Farm Show Grounds on Route 68 and will continue through Sunday.
A motorcycle parade through downtown Butler to benefit Butler County Veterans in Need will kick off the event Thursday evening. The registration fee for the parade is $10 per bike. The weekend will also include food vendors, bike games, a bike show, live music, and motorcycle accessories.
Organizers also say they’ve lined up suggested routes for bikers that will take them on scenic back roads and other landmarks in the county. This is an all ages event and general admission is free. Parking for vehicles is $5 but free for motorcycles.
