A Republican candidate for U.S. Senate made a stop in downtown Butler yesterday making his case for the nomination.
Jeff Bartos was outside of Miller’s Shoes and he told our newsroom what he believes his campaign is about. “I’m a commonsense business person who would fight for people on the floor of the Senate,” Bartos said. “Our campaign is bringing forward an optimistic message looking forward and bringing people in who want to build a better life for their children and grandchildren.”
The Montgomery County native is currently on a bus tour of all 67 counties across Pennsylvania—a part of his campaign that he believes speaks to how he would operate as a senator.
“This bus tour is emblematic of who I will be as a Senator. Every county, every year. Never forgetting the voices that we not only listened to on this bus tour, but that we’ve connected with and make sure we’re a champion for what our fellow Pennsylvanians across all the counties are doing.”
Bartos was the Republican candidate for Lieutenant Governor in 2018.
