While indoor dining has fully reopened, restaurant owners say they are still not out of the woods yet from the impact of pandemic shutdowns.
That’s according to the Pennsylvania Restaurant and Lodging Association who announced yesterday that establishments are still struggling to find help, facing rising food prices, and suffering from debt incurred last year.
In response, the Wolf administration is encouraging restaurants to apply for the COVID Hospitality Industry Relief Program.
However, the association says that operators are finding workforce challenges to be even more difficult than they were in 2020.
