The Los Angeles Dodgers took game two of their three game series with the Pittsburgh Pirates following a 4-3 victory last night. The Pirate bullpen faltered once again when Cody Ponce allowed two runs in the fifth inning, which allowed the Dodgers to take the lead for good. Starting pitcher Wil Crowe allowed two runs on five hits over four innings.
The Pirates have now fallen to 42-78 this season, and are on pace to lose well over 100 games. The Bucs have now lost 22 of their past 24 games to Los Angeles. The two teams complete their series tonight at 10:10pm. WISR pre-game is 9:45pm.
