The visiting Pittsburgh Pirates fell to the Chicago Cubs on Saturday afternoon, the final 7-6.
The Buccos held a 6-4 lead heading into the bottom of the ninth when Chicago scored three runs to secure the win. Pittsburgh’s starting pitcher J.T. Brubaker left the game with an undisclosed injury. He pitched three innings and allowed four hits and three runs while striking out five.
