A former federal prosecutor is the latest candidate to jump into the race for governor.
Bill McSwain announced his candidacy for the Republican nomination earlier today.
McSwain was most recently a U.S. Attorney for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania, after being appointed to the position by former President Donald Trump.
He previously served in the Marine Corps and practiced private law.
McSwain joins seven other formal candidates in the Republican race, while others are still weighing potential bids.
