A project to make improvements at Ritts Park is underway.
Crews from Wiest Paving were busy resurfacing the tennis courts Wednesday to allow for residents to play pickleball. This $39,000 expense was approved by City Council in August.
Earlier this year, the Department of Community and Economic Development approved a Greenways, Trails, and Recreation Program grant of nearly $125,000 to upgrade Ritts Park in the City of Butler.
This project will also include a 10 station Fit Trail, walkway restoration, and landscaping.
