The Butler Area Public Library is looking for local community groups and businesses to help with an upcoming fun holiday event.
The Flannel Forest Fest is planned for Saturday, December 4th from 2:30 to 4:30 p.m. with the theme of lumberjacks and woodland animals. This event will also include the creation of a forest of festive holiday trees featuring unique decorations.
At no cost to the groups, a tree will be provided by the library for decoration between Monday, November 29th and Thursday, December 2nd from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Trees will stay outdoors and decorated through Friday, January 7th. Attendees will vote on their favorite trees with the winning organization awarded a prize.
Any organization interested in participating is asked to RSVP to the library by the time the library closes this Saturday.
