The FBI in Pittsburgh is warning shoppers to be cautious when buying and selling online.
They say the number of scams pick up during this time of year where people buying products never receive them, or those selling items never get their cash.
So far, about 780 of these scams have happened in the Pittsburgh region so far this year.
The FBI says if the price seems too good to be true, it probably is a scam. They also encourage shoppers to use websites they are familiar with.
