A local school is collecting items to benefit the Butler County Humane Society.
Mars Area Centennial School Service Club students have organized the collection for Monday through Friday of this upcoming week.
Items being collected include: canned dog and cat food, treats, leashes, laundry detergent, garbage bags, and kitty litter.
Donations can be dropped off at the school’s main office during school hours.
