The Kansas City Chiefs ended the Pittsburgh Steelers season following a 42-21 victory Sunday night in the Wild Card round of the NFL playoffs. The loss also has ended the career of Steelers quarterback Ben Roethlisberger, who is likely to retire after 18 seasons. The two teams played a scoreless first quarter before T.J. Watt gave the Steelers a 7-0 lead in the second quarter following a fumble recovery for a touchdown. The Chiefs would take control after that – with touchdowns on five consecutive drives.
The Chiefs will host Buffalo in the Divisional Round this weekend.
