The Pittsburgh Penguins defeated the Columbus Blue Jackets 3-2 Sunday evening for their second straight win over the weekend. The Pens scored twice in the third period to comeback from a 2-1 deficit. Evgeni Malkin scored on a power play to tie the game, with Sidney Crosby scoring the game-winning goal. Casey DeSmith stopped 32 of 34 shots in net for the Pens.
The Pens shut-out the New York Rangers 1-0 Saturday afternoon. Tristan Jarry stopped all 27 shots in that game.
The Pens now lead the Rangers by three points in the Metro Division. They travel to face Tampa Bay Thursday, and then Carolina Friday.
