The Butler boys bowling team became one of six teams in western Pennsylvania to reach the state championship tournament later this month in Lancaster. Butler led the five-games of qualifying in the Western Pennsylvania Regional championships on Saturday, but fell in the semifinals of the championship stepladder. Rocco Rice and Eric Devore had the highest single games in the tournament and were named to the All-Tournament team. Rice had the tournament’s high game of 265 and a 639 series. Devore had a 258 and 634 series.
