Funds are now available from the federal government to stimulate the development and adoption of innovative conservation approaches and technologies in conjunction with agricultural production.
The USDA’s Natural Resources Conservation Service is offering financial assistance opportunities through the Conservation Innovation Grants program.
A total of over $200,000 is available to fund multiple one to three year projects between $5,000 and $75,000 each. Proposed projects should augment existing technical tools like planning and assessment/delivery to improve conservation on farms.
The deadline to apply is this Thursday (4/14). Visit the website of the USDA for applications or more information.
